South East England Health Strategy

This strategy is for all organisations and groups that have a role to play in helping improve the health and well-being of the population and reducing inequalities.

The strategy is part of a suite of regional strategies that make up the South East Regional Sustainability Framework. It also reflects and builds upon national and regional policies for improving health and reducing inequalities.

This is the full version of the strategy which was launched at the South East annual public health conference on 7 February 2008. An earlier Discussion draft was published in June 2007 and this full version of the strategy is based on the responses received from a wide range of partner organisations and groups over the course of the public discussion period held during summer 2007.
