12 October 2009 - Workshop

A workshop to explore requirements of the new Local Economic Assessment duty was held in Guildford on 12 October 2009.  Key objectives of the  workshop were to outline requirements, explain what support and resources were already available, or being developed, to assist local authorities and also to develop mechanisms for sharing best practice.  The event was well attended by representives from upper tier authorities as well as regional organisations such as SEEDA, the South East Partnership Board and ONS.
