Feasibility study to examine making the Thames Gateway a low carbon/carbon neutral development area

The low carbon feasibility study was commissioned in 2006 and is the first of its kind in the UK. The study provides a comprehensive evidence base of current and future Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) from five key sectors in the Gateway, and sets out recommended interventions in the Thames Gateway to be addressed across government.  It was jointly funded by Communities and Local Government, DEFRA, Environment Agency and English Partnerships.
