The average gross disposable household income (GDHI) per head for the UK in 2007 was £14,317. In 2007, regional household income per head was above the national average in three regions: London at £17,931; South East at £16,095; and East of England at £15,083. The lowest household income per head was in the North East at £12,216, followed by Northern Ireland at £12,472.
