Statistics on bankruptcies and individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs) in England and Wales by geographical areas down to the equivalent of local authority level were published by the Insolvency Service on 10th July 2009 . These annual statistics cover the period 2000 to 2008, and show numbers of new cases and rates per 10,000 adult population.
